REFUNDS AND CANCELATIONS

  • Classes/events canceled by Community Ed. will be fully refunded to registrants. 
  • Canceled registrations by the registrant within one week of the Class/Event will not be refunded.
  • Canceled registrations by the registrant prior to one week before the Class/Event will be refunded with a $5 cancelation fee.

Community Education (Fund 80) is a program entity under the Hayward Community School District, the intent of Community Education within the School District setting is to offer sustainable programming for our Community that is fee based, the School Board would like to target this to be a break even program. The Tamarack Health Fitness Center will operate under "Fund 80". 

Fund 80 Definition:
It is the purpose of this policy to authorize a Community Services Fund (hereinafter referred to as “Fund 80”) for the development and maintenance of programs and services outside of the regular curricular and extracurricular programs (these programs may include education, training, recreational, cultural and/or athletic programs and services). The Community Services Program is accounted for in Fund 80 and the Board may fund the program by a combination of a local tax levy and user/rental fees."
