If you need  to pick up your child during school hours, you must come to the office.  Teachers are not allowed to release children from school.  Parents must  sign out their child.  Only people listed on  the child's emergency card (that parents have completed during enrollment) may pick up a child.

School Attendance

When your child is absent from school, please call your child's school office and let them know the reason for the absence.  You may call anytime and leave a voice message; phones are on 24 hours a day.  It is very helpful to call before 8:30 a.m.  You must call every day your child is absent, unless the absence has been pre-arranged.

School Bus Information

Bus service is available to all students who live outside a safe walking  distance to their school.  More than 35 buses cover the 622 square miles that comprise the Hayward Community School District.  This includes the communities of Hayward, Seeley, Stone Lake, Reserve, New Post, and all rural areas within the district.  All students are potential bus    riders.  Since buses are an extension of the classroom, students are      expected to conduct themselves accordingly. For information on bus   pick-up and drop-off schedules, please contact:
Hurricane Busing Inc. at 715-634-8621.
